Mrs. van der Merwe is currently the Chief Executive Officer of First Capital Bank Botswana. Reinette holds a Masters in Finance and Marketing from the University of North-West (South Africa) and is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). She brings with her 26 years of financial services experience covering a number of areas including Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking. Prior to joining First Capital Bank Botswana, Reinette was with Absa, previously a member of Barclays, where she held a number of senior roles including Managing Director for Barclays Bank Botswana.
